What a difference a year makes.
This time last year, I was still at the United ticket
counter trying to convince the agent that all of my
students needed to arrive at the same time, not days
apart.
This year, we had the most
wonderful flight on Jet Blue. We were all grouped
together and the kiddos were terrific. We picked up our
luggage in record time and found Curt waiting for us at
the curb in his Deluxe Luxury Passenger Motor Vehicle.
We stopped for a great dinner in
Manassas. The kids can really eat. After dessert we
jumped back on the coach for an eighty mile drive to
Charlottesville and our Doubletree Hotel. Tomorrow we
are up early for tours at the University of Virginia and
Monticello.
Our group received kudos every step
of the way including flight attendants, WorldStrides
staff and the restaurant.
